Josh,
Thanks for your comment and your inquiry. I’ve replied to you via email asking for more information about device/os/types of images, etc that might help us diagnose the problem.
Hopefully we’ll be able to find a solution to this problem for you soon!

Mario,
(This is an email I just sent you, but I’m writing it here as well).
When you get your new iPhone, you will need to set it up in iTunes in
order to activate it. When you do this, you can choose to restore your
phone from an existing backup (the backup of your old phone).
Once this is done, you can download Camera Vault from the App Store,
sync your phone with iTunes, and your photos will be right where they
were left.
If you already set up your phone, say at an Apple Store, then you can
go to iTunes and use the “Restore” button to restore your phone and
restore from backup. If you go this route, do make sure to backup your
phone with iTunes first, as it is always a great practice.
Enjoy your new iPhone,

Mahdavi,
Well… the answer used to be “yes!, just hit the edit button, and a delete button becomes visible.” But I see in iOS 4, that is no longer the case! I’ve opened up a bug report on this, and we will get it fixed as soon as we can. Thanks for pointing this out!
