I wish to make sure once again before I purchase your Apps! You said ” yes, as long as you have synced your iDevice with iTunes before you delete the app”!
As with all other apps when I purchased it from iTune I had to sync my iDevice before the apps can be captured in my iPhone right? After which I used it and saved picutures in the App. Do I understand you correctly that only after I had stored pictures/photos in the apps I had to re-sync my iDevice to iTunes then thereafter if I accidentally delete the apps from my iPhone and re-sync back the pictures will still remain in the Apps!
I had to be certain, because I have lost many special photos with other apps after I accidentally deleted it and when re-sync the Apps back only to find all picutures gone! If this Apps has the function I want I will recommend my friends to buy it!

If you manually delete the app (tap and hold, x button, “Deleting … will also delete all of its data”, click yes), then the iDevice does delete all of the application data and syncing it to iTunes will not bring it back from this sync and forward.
What I had in mind when I was writing my response was that the application was deleted or some other event, and you are restoring your iDevice from iTunes (I wasn’t thinking about re-sync, but instead restore). When you use the iTunes restore feature, it takes your phone back to a previous backup and this does in fact return Camera Vault or any app back to its settings and saved data at the time that backup sync was made.

What do you mean that you can’t find your camera? Are you meaning the iPhone’s default camera application, or the Camera Vault camera? You can still take pictures with the iPhone’s camera and transfer them over to your Vault. Conversely, you can take pictures using Camera Vault. Just open Camera Vault, and locate the little camera icon in the bottom left corner.
The design of the Camera Vault security system is to prevent anyone who does not know the PIN or security questions from getting into the Vault. That said, if you forget your PIN and security answers, then there is no way to recover that information. You will have to uninstall and reinstall Camera Vault, but your photos will be lost as well. Keep in mind this is a security feature, and you certainly wouldn’t want your roommate emailing us to unlock your Vault for them!

Hi John,

Thanks for clarifying the matter!
I wish one day someone can come with an App that can retain the photos, videos etc, after re-syncing to restore the App back to the iPhone!
